Dismissal changes course of cup final

Re-Rack 2 Marden 3 MARDEN carried off the Jewson Herefordshire Sunday League Premier Division Cup after extra-time.

The defining moment of the match happened in the 76th minute when Re-Rack’s Daniel Stack was sent off after putting his side 2-1 in front.

Stack picked up a second yellow card after he took off his shirt to celebrate his goal.

Marden levelled through Danny Hill and then Glen Day fired in the winner five minutes into extra-time after good work from Derek Craddock.

Earlier, Re-Rack opened the scoring in the 27th minute after Stack fed Price to slot home.

But Day struck the equaliser for Marden in the 53rd minute before Stack’s dismissal changed the game.
