PETE Beadle is expecting a tough Bank Holiday weekend as his side look for back-to-back victories against Royston Town and Redditch United.

The Bulls have little room for mistakes in their remaining eight games as King's Lynn Town are breathing on their necks a single point following a last gasp victory on Tuesday night, but have played two games extra.

"We know it's in our hands still and up to us with what we do so all we can do is hope that one of them might slip up but they didn't and we don't expect them to," said Beadle.

"They will probably think the same about us but we need to keep our head down and keep performing like we have done.

"When you get to this part of the season they are all tough games. Saturday against Royston is going to be tough as they have won again tonight (Tuesday).

"They will come here and want to turn us over as we have beaten them in the league at their place.

"Then Redditch have picked up at late and put some tidy performances together. None of the games are easy it doesn't matter who you are playing it's about consistency and maintaining your levels of performance. If we can do that we won't be far off again."

A big away following is expected to travel to Redditch on Monday (3pm kick-off) and Hereford will have to contend with a 3G pitch surface.

"It should be a cracking atmosphere and good game," added Beadle.

"It will be a difficult pitch as it's 3G so it's not a natural surface. We train on it every week so the players are used to it so it shouldn't be too unnatural.

"Sometimes you don't get a natural bounce or a natural roll but the players should be used to it."
