TOM Boyle netted a hat-trick as Ledbury town took their first victory of the season running out 3-0 winners at Tenbury Town.

Following their emphatic 2-0 victory over high-flying Westfields Reserves to make it through to the final of the Herefordshire FA Charity Bowl cup competition last weekend Ledbury were once again in fine form.

Tenbury threatened during the opening 15 minutes of play as a shot rattled the post, before Boyle found his first of three after managing to keep control of a bouncing ball before beating a defender inside the box and giving his side their first mark on the scoresheet.

The former Westfields striker doubled his side's advantage four minutes from the interval running with the ball down the wing before calmly taking it past the keeper and slotting home.

Boyle’s third goal then eluded him but his chance to seal the victory came with five minutes remaining on the clock and the marksman duly obliged.
