LADS Club manager Danny Moon has urged his side to exploit the weaknesses of league leaders Malvern Town when the two sides meet on Saturday.

Moon hopes his side can continue their momentum after goals from Rory Worthing and Keisha Crowley helped Lads Club to a 2-1 derby win over Pegasus Juniors last weekend.

"It was a good result to get the three points as we have been up and down in recent weeks but we are looking to score a few more," said Moon.

"Pegasus are a young side who keep working hard like us so it was a good tempo to the game. Since Mike (Panniers) has taken over at Peggy he has formed a side who work hard and don't stop which made it difficult for us.

"We had a few chances which we could have buried but did enough to win the game and weren't in trouble of drawing or losing the game."

Lads Club netted their opening goal on 26 minutes after Crowley was brought down inside the box by Elliot Payne- who was show a red card for the challenge.

Rory Worthing slid the resulting penalty into the right hand corner of the goal.

The visitors looked in full control after when they doubled their lead just before the break with Crowley volleying home a pin-point cross.

After a half-time talking to Pegasus responded just three minutes later when a ball through the middle unlocked the defence and the goalkeeper could only bring down the striker in front of goal.

Kyle Panniers netted the resulting penalty but the hosts couldn't find a leveller late on.

Lads Club host leaders Malvern on Saturday, who they beat 5-4 in a thrilling encounter back in October.

Moon predicts a similarly open game on Saturday.

"We beat them earlier in the season and we will be looking to do the same again," Moon added.

"They're a team who like to go on the attack but that gives us a lot of opportunities to go at them and score but we need to make sure we don't concede."
