RADNOR Valley finished the year off by beating nine-man Llanidloes 3-2 in Spar Mid Wales League Division One.

Chris Price opened the scoring for Radnor with a fantastic strike from 30 yards before George Clark equalised with a left-foot volley.

However, the home side went into half-time ahead after Geraint Lloyd netted.

Following the goal, Llanidloes goalkeeper Aaron Warwick received a second yellow card for an infringement and was sent off.

Despite their numerical disadvantage, Llanidloes levelled when Ashley Owen bundled the ball home.

But it was Radnor who would go on to win the game when Joey Price scored a penalty.

Llanidloes' woes were deepened when they were reduced to nine man after Richie Evans was deemed to have elbowed an opponent.

Knighton Town, meanwhile, beat Llandrindod Wells 2-0 thanks to a Tom Jones strike and a Connor Bird penalty.

In Division Two, a hat-trick from Matty Tonka saw Hay St Mary's beat Presteigne 3-1.

Jack Brazier replied for the visitors.

Talgarth Town went down 4-0 to Penybont United, while in the Emrys Morgan Cup, Knighton Reserves were thrashed 16-1 by Newcastle Emlyn.
