INFLUENTIAL Hereford loanee Tryone Duffus is set to be out for up to four weeks after injuring his hamstring.

The central midfielder, who is on loan from Cardiff, had to be withdrawn during Tuesday night's win over St Ives Town.

The news is a big blow for the Bulls, with cup matches against Oxford City and Fleetwood Town coming up.

"He only did it on Tuesday so we won't get a proper idea of how long he will be out for, but we're looking at three to four weeks," said Hereford manager Pete Beadle.

"It was great that he wasn't cup tied, but it is a bit of a gamble bringing in under-23 players.

"He did extremely well on Saturday and was looking forward to tomorrow's game.

"But it is what is - we just seem to have a bit of bad luck in that we're got three central midfield/attacking players out with hamstring injuries."

The other two players are Pablo Haysham and Calvin Dinsley.

Haysham didn't train last night, while Dinsley did some work last night with physio Jonny Evans.

Both are not in contention for tomorrow's FA Trophy game at Oxford, but Dinsley may be in Beadle's thoughts for next weekend's FA Cup match at Fleetwood should he get through the next training sessions unscathed.

Meanwhile, tomorrow's game could be decided on the day.

Oxford City are also through to the second round of the FA Cup and have an away match at Notts County to look forward to.

Beadle believes that Oxford have agreed for the tie to be concluded tomorrow and the clubs are awaiting for the Football Association to approve it.

Hereford were initially scheduled to have a league match this Tuesday against Frome Town.

But the Evo-Stik Southern League have allowed for the game to be postponed to ensure Hereford have enough preparation as possible for the Fleetwood game.
