LEDBURY'S Tyler Weir has left Worcester City to join Northern Premier League side Hednesford side.
The former Hereford United player decided to captain Worcester in the Midland Football League Premier Division despite interest from elsewhere.
But he has now decided to move on and sign for the Staffordshire side following a seven day approach.
"I have loved my time at this club and it has been a very difficult decision to make," said Weir.
"After having discussions I felt that at this point in my life this is an opportunity I couldn't turn down.
"I firstly want to thank the supporters for all the support they have given me and the Club over the last few years.
"I want to say thanks to Lee Hughes but also a massive thank you to Snapper [John Snape].
"He has helped me a lot over the last two years and I will be forever grateful to him.
"Lastly I want to say it has been an honour to have worn the blue and white strip and also this season the captain's armband."
