PRESTEIGNE have jumped up to fourth place in Spar Mid-Wales League Division Two after beating Penybont United 3-1 last night.
Matt Strangwood scored two of the goals, with Josh Garner also on traget for Shaun Harris' side.
Elsewhere in Division Two, Hay St Marys maintained their unbeaten after Tom Langdon, Kevin Jones and Callum Maddy scored in a 3-1 win over Brecon Northcote, while Talgarth Town drew 1-1 at Builth Wells; Louis Pritchard scoring their goal.
In Division One, Radnor Valley ended a run of four straight defeats with a 3-2 victory over Llanidloes Town on Fridat night.
Radnor trailed to goals from Joe Evans and Richie Evans but hit back in the second half with Elliot Morris and Geraint Lloyd levelling before Joey Price sank the league leaders from the penalty spot.
Knighton Town were however on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline when they hosted newly promoted Kerry.
The Radnor Robins were three down at half-time but made a valiant effort to get back on terms with Danny Ives and Ieuan Crowe reducing the deficit.
Presteigne Reserves lost 3-1 at home to Newcastle.
