TYLER Weir has ended any speculation linking him with Hereford FC after agreeing to re-sign for Worcester City.

The Ledbury-based full-back, 26, was Worcester's player of the year last season and has been with the club for five years.

"There has been a lot of interest this summer but I am happy to still be at Worcester City," said Weir.

"I want this club to be back where we should be."

Worcester will be in the Midland Football League Premier Division next season alongside Westfields after deciding to drop two leagues following their relegation last season.

Many Hereford fans believe Weir could have been on his way to Edgar Street after stating he had 'unfinished business' in the city after being at with Hereford United between 2009 and 2012.
