THE provisional club allocations for the Midland and West Midland leagues have been released.

The new teams that Westfields will face in the Midland Football League Premier Division are Bromsgrove Sporting, Haughmond, Rugby Town, West Bridgford and Worcester City.

Bromsgrove and Haughmond come up from Midland League Division One and West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division respectively, while Rugby were relegated from Northern [Premier League Division One South.

West Bridgford won the East Midlands Counties League, while Worcester decided to drop a further two leagues after being relegated from National League North.

St Andrews have moved across to the United Counties League.

As for the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division, Hereford Lads Club join fellow county sides Pegasus Juniors and Wellington following their Division One title success.

Wednesfield, who finished runners-up to Lads Club, are awaiting an appeal to see if they can move up to the Premier Division, while Tividale drop down from the Midland League.

As for Division One, league secretary Wendy Juggins says next season's constitution will be discussed at a meeting next Monday.

Kington finished second-from-bottom last season, but are set to be reprieved in order for the division to return to an 18-team format.

WMRL Premier Division clubs for 2017/18: AFC Bridgnorth, Bewdley Town, Bilston Town, Black Country Rangers, Cradley Town, Dudley Sports, Dudley Town, Ellesmere Rangers, Hereford Lads Club, Malvern Town, Pegasus Juniors, Shifnal Town, Smethwick Rangers, Stone Old Alleynians, Tividale, Wednesfield (subject to appeal), Wellington Amateurs, Wellington, Willenhall Town, Wolverhampton Casuals, Wolverhampton Sporting Community.
