SOME Hereford FC supporters believe the Bulls could find it much harder next season.

Pete Beadle's team have gained back-to-back promotions and will almost certainly be in the Southern League Premier Division next season.

But fans that spoke to the Hereford Times were cautious when asked how the Bulls will fare.

"Other teams will probably take more of their chances, which means you can't make as many mistakes," said Mike Thomas.

"So I think it is going to be really difficult.

"When they started, the club did say they wanted two promotions out of three, so I think the play-offs or at least towards the top would be a really good season.

"But I think it will depend how well they do in the cup competitions.

"If you look at Taunton this season, they had a really good run in the FA Cup, but they struggled to start with in the league and they've only got their act together towards the end.

"A cup run tires the players out with the travelling and they can pick up injuries."

Jane Griffiths agreed with Mike's assessment.

"I think it's going to be very hard next season and it will be a much bigger step-up looking at some of the ground capacities," said Jane.

"Other teams are looking to get into Conference North and South, so I think it will be a lot harder next season.

"But that's fine, that is what we are aiming to get to.

"I would like to get back into the Football League, which will be fantastic, and hopefully it's done sooner rather than later.

"The fans are behind them, which I think is important, but we can't expect to win every league at the first time of asking."
