HEREFORD Lads Club player-manager Danny Moon says he won't be taking any sides lightly in his pursuit of West Midlands (Regional) League Division One glory.

The city side have won 18 of their 19 games this season, with their latest victory being a 5-1 success over Wyrley.

This Saturday, Lads Club go to second-placed Newport Town, who have 11 points adrift having played three more games.

"We've got to give them respect and go there and get a positive result," said Moon.

"If we control the game then hopefully we'll get the three points."

Moon was delighted with last Saturday's win.

"The boys played really well on the day," said Moon.

"We've got a good lead, but we've got a tough January.

"All games will be hard, so we've got to take it one game at a time."

Zac Sirrell opened the scoring with a fine finish before Tom Harding scored a penalty.

Darren Andrews headed home a third goal after the break before Wyrley pulled a goal back.

But Dan Herbert restored the three-goal advantage and Harding sealed the win.
