WESTFIELDS manager Sean Edwards says his team must stop conceding goals after throwing away two points on Tuesday.

Edwards' came from 2-1 down to lead 3-2 against Stourport Swifts before the Worcestershire side equalised with just three minutes left.

"We should see games like out rather than worry about a free-kick coming into the box," said Edwards.

"The game should have been finished in the first 25 minutes.

"We were just a bit loose in front of goal and we concede two sloppy goals, so are on the backfoot.

"But in the second half, you couldn't have asked any more from our lads.

"We dominated the half bar one goal at the end where it has hit our player in the face and swivelled into the net.

"Our pitch was excellent and we played some great football in the first 25 minutes; I don't think they hardly touched the ball until they scored their first goal.

"But with so many players out it's tough.

"We've probably not had the same back four for two or three games on the trot.

"Stourport is always a tough game though whether you play them home or away.

"We went 1-0 up and were then a bit 'nice' in front of goal for 10 minutes and had we got the second goal, I think we would have gone on and won the game."

Westfields had a dream start when leading marksman Richard Greaves headed home a cross after barely 50 seconds on the clock.

Chris Ham then had an effort saved before Stourport levelled after 20 minutes.

A defensive mix-up saw Joe Phillips beat an onrushing Keiron Blackburn to the ball and the former Hereford trialist slotted the ball into an empty net.

Stourport went in front in the 38th minute when Jack Bailey tapped home after Phillips' initial shot was saved.

But Westfields kicked on after the break and Greaves made it 2-2 in the 55th minute.

Craig Jones put Westfields in front with an excellent free-kick nine minutes later, but substitute Matthew Pinder had the last word with a close range finish in the 87th minute.
