WESTFIELDS ran riot tonight, beating Boldmere St Michaels 5-1 in Midland Football League Premier Division.
Sean Edwards' side are now up to third place in the division, seven points behind leaders Alvechurch but with six games in hand.
Westfields opened the scoring after only 38 seconds when Boldmere defender Anthony Fitzmaurice diverted the ball into his own net.
Richard Greaves then doubled his side's advantage on the stroke of half time before Ben Miller made it 3-0 eight minutes from time.
Craig Jones soon made it 4-0 before Nick Harrhy added another goal for Westfields.
Boldmere pulled a goal back through Alex Forde.
Westfields are in FA Vase action this Saturday when they travel to fellow Midland League side Coleshill Town in the third round.
