A HAT-TRICK in each half from Ryan Rowlett gave Rosey Athletic only their second win of the season.
The striker’s six goals plus a brace from Julio Mata handed the home side an 8-5 victory over Hay St Mary’s in the Herefordshire Sunday League Central Division.
Nathan Heighway, Richard Lynes, Charlie Kear-Conway, Tom Landon and Darren Horrigan netted for Hay.
There was joy, however, for Hay St Mary’s Reserves, who defeated Rhayader 2-0 in the Watson Financial Mid Wales League (South).
Both goals, from Matty Tong and Matt Turrell, came late in the game to earn the Saints a fourth league success of the term.
