WESTFIELDS winger Aidan Thomas says it's incredible that his club are now the only Herefordshire side left in the FA Cup.

The allpay.park side are through to the fourth qualifying round after beating higher-graded Walton Casuals 4-0.

"Credit to Hereford, I know they lost but we're just going to keep on doing what we're doing," said Thomas.

"We're in the habit if winning and just want to keep that going.

"To be just one round away from the first round is an unbelievable achievement.

"I know we're one of the lowest teams left in the tournament now, but every team will be fearing us.

"I know you've got the League Cup and the Vase, but the FA Cup is brilliant for the club.

"It sorts them out financially and if we can get to the first round, what an achievement that is.

"It's the biggest cup in England and for a team of our size to even compete at this level is a hell of an achievement.

"We thought, ok they're in the league above, they look alright, but we turned it on and were brilliant.

"We gave them too much respect in my eyes and thought they would be a decent outfit.

"But once we started playing our game, there was only one team in it."

Thomas had a great chance to put Westfields 1-0 up against Walton Casuals when he fired wide when through on goal.

"It was a great ball from Dylan [Bonella], the right back kind of slipped and I was in on goal," said Thomas.

"I kind of sat the keeper down and had to place it.

"I missed and I was thinking, 'let's hope that doesn't cost us and it didn't.

"But I made up for it soon after.

"Rich [Greaves] has made a great run across and I've just got to feed him."
