HEREFORD'S walking football team will be competing in the second round of the Over 50 Walking Football National Cup.
The side, known as the Scrumpy Boys, will be competing against Birmingham, Kettering and Hindley on September 30.
Hereford got to the stage after beating Ross-on-Wye 5-1, despite starting with one less player.
Kyri Kyriakou scored two of the goals, with Steve Tippins, Martin Brooks and Mark Catlin also on target.
The Scrumpy Boys, which currently has 18 members, are also due to start their quest in the Gloucestershire League.
