PEGASUS Juniors bounced back from a disappointing loss against Willenhall Town by beating county rivals Wellington 3-1 in the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division on Tuesday night.

Cory Hyde opened the scoring in the 22nd minute before Paul Jones equalised from the penalty spot six minutes later.

But Ben Price restored Pegasus' advantage three minutes before half time before Hyde sealed the win three minutes from time.

Wellington went into the game on the back of an excellent 3-0 away win at Ellesmere Rangers

The villagers opened the scoring thanks to a Paul Jones penalty after Jo Davies was brought down.

A corner led then to Andy Price scoring to make it 2-0 before Ellesmere had a player sent off.

Aaron Morgan then sealed the win from close range.

Pegasus lost to Willenhall despite the away side having a player sent off.

Willenhall had already missed a penalty in the first half before seeing a player dismissed after the break.

But they took the lead through Matt Dorgan in the 63rd minute before Chad Birch added a second nine minutes later.

Jack Lewis pulled a goal back in the 82nd minute, but Willenhall held on.

In Division One, Kington Town lost 3-1 to St Martins, while Bromyard Town were hammered 4-0 at home to Wyrley.
