ADAM page says he would definitely consider going back to Hereford FC despite sustaining another serious injury.

The winger, who enjoyed an excellent start to the Bulls' maiden season in the Midland Football League Premier Division while on loan from Cheltenham Town, injured his knee while training for Town last Friday.

Page, who had only come back from a serious foot injury that he sustained last November, told the Hereford Times on Tuesday that he feared he could again be on the sidelines for a long time.

And his fears were confirmed when it was revealed yesterday that he had sustained an anterior cruciate ligament and will be out for the majority of next season.

"Because this has happened, I'm not sure what is going to happen now," said Page.

"I love to be playing anywhere, so I will see what happens.

"I had a great time at Hereford and I would love to have played more and be part of what they achieved.

"I'll definitely consider going back there , but because of my injury, I'm not sure what is going to happen."

Page watched the Bulls in action from the sidelines while injured and has tipped Pete Beadle's men to go up again.

"Hereford have got the fan base, so I can't see why not," he said.

"They'll definitely be one of the strongest sides in the league."

Hereford supporters will be getting their diaries out tomorrow when the draw for the first rounds of the FA Cup and FA Trophy are made.

The Bulls are expected to be placed in the Preliminary Round of both competitions, with the draws set to be announced by midday.

If that is the case, Hereford will play their first ever FA Cup game on Saturday, August 20, with the Preliminary Round of the FA Trophy set for Saturday, October 8.

Meanwhile, Paulton Rovers have reported that Hereford centre-back Nathan Summers has held talks with them about the possibility of hooking up with the Bristol-based club.

Summers joined spent a month at Frome Town last season after failing to win back his Bulls place following injury before returning to Edgar Street.

But with experienced defender Chris Barker hooking up with Hereford, Summers' first team opportunities next season may be limited.

"Nathan fell out of favour at Hereford towards the end of last season and, although he has been offered a new contract at Hereford, he and I are unsure that he will be a regular starter so a move to Paulton could benefit," Paulton manager Tony Ricketts told their official site.

"He is a third year student at Hartpury and obviously finance comes into the equation.

"With this being the biggest stumbling block, I hope to have a decision early next week."
