HEREFORD FC assistant manager Matt Bishop says he will sit down with the club at the end of the season to see if he will remain at Edgar Street.

Bishop works full-time with the English Football Association and is based in Aberystwyth, north Wales.

He has been linked with a coaching role with Aberystwyth Town, but says his immediate focus is to win the FA Vase with the Bulls this Sunday.

"It's been ongoing for the last few weeks, but my focus at the minute is on winning on Sunday and we will see what happens next year," said Bishop.

"Everyone is aware that I'm full-time with English FA and there have been occasions this season where I've had to miss one or two games, which is tough and has bene tough on Peter [Beadle]. But I have quite a responsible job, with a lot of travelling.

"It is tough, but that's football.

"The important thing though is to get through the end of this season and sitting down with everyone to see where we go."

Bishop added that leading Hereford out at Wembley will be the highlight of his coaching career.

"It's an achievement no matter what club you're at and you've got to enjoy it," he said.

"Considering the start to the season that we had, to get where we are now and leading the team out at Wembley is brilliant.

"As staff, when we sit down and envisage what we have done this season, you would be laughing.

"I think they [the players] have been absolutely brilliant.

"Hopefully we've entertained and they [the fans] have enjoyed what they have seen on the pitch.

"They have got behind the players and taken them to their hearts, which has helped in a lot of games.

"I think the club is going places and hopefully, next season, we can continue the momentum and not get complacent."
