HEREFORD FC assistant manager Matt Bishop says it is important the Bulls don't get complacent now after claiming the treble on Tuesday night.

The Bulls – who have already won the Midland Football League Premier Division and the HFA County Challenge Cup – came from behind to beat Walsall Wood 3-1 and win the Polymac Packaging Midland Football League Cup.

The next target is the FA Vase at Wembley next Sunday, which complete a remarkable quadruple.

"It's important that we don't get too carried away with the occasion.

"Our focus has always been on the next game – it just so happens that it's at Wembley.

"You can get complacent after winning leagues and you don't win anything without working hard and making sacrifices.

"I got in at 1.30am last night and was back in at work this morning – that is the reality of it."

Bishop was delighted with the win.

"They came at us and it took us a little while to get going, but once we got the third goal, we were able to control the game and our fitness proved its worth.

"We mixed it up again and made a few changes from the previous game, but that is testament to the squad in that we can put out a side who are capable of getting us over the line.

"It gives us food for thought for Wembley now."

Hereford manager Pete Beadle added that his side showed great character to come from behind and he thought his players were excellent.

"It was a tough game, it was always going to be difficult because I think their league position is a bit false in the sense that they are one of the better teams in it," said Beadle.

"It would have been nice to get the third goal a bit earlier, but I put that down to the fact they are a good team.

"We made eight changes from the side that played Westfields and some of those players haven't played a lot recently.

"So credit to those because they were fantastic and put in a great performance."

Walsall Wood opened the scoring through Louis Harris in the 19th minute before Mike Symons equalised with a fantastic strike.

Hereford went into the break ahead after Ross Staley fired home a minute before half-time and the Bulls could have gone in further ahead if it wasn't for goalkeeper Adam Jenkins making a number of fine saves.

But the Bulls sealed the win and trophy number three thanks to substitute Mustapha Bundu four minutes from time.
