BROMYARD Town manager Nick Smith believes his team can start putting a run together after claiming an excellent win at West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division high-flyers Haughmond.

Brad Birch has agreed to sign from Westfields while former Worcester City goalkeeper Mark Wright is also now on their books.

"The problem we have had is people have been away on holiday and we have been missing five or six players all the time," said Smith.

"We have also changed the management from Martin Stephens to myself and were two months behind training.

"But on Saturday we had 10 of our first team and we've signed some good players.

"We've got Pegasus on Saturday and Wellington on Saturday and I'm looking at six points from those games."

Dorian Colling and Danny Polan grabbed Bromyard's goals against Haughmond.

Pegasus go into the game on the back of a 7-1 thumping at AFC Bridgnorth.

Liam Brood scored a hat-trick for Bridgnorth, with Ryan Bradshaw (two), Karl Griffiths and Andy Hartlebury also netting.

Sam Pearson scored Pegasus' solitary goal.

Wellington came from 2-0 down against Malvern Town thanks to strikes from Josh Hunt and Jo Davies, but Malvern broke away with 10 minutes left to win the game.

In Division One, two goals from Robert Drag and one from Dean Corbett saw Lads Club beat Shifnal Town 3-2, while Ryan Newton and Liam Jones netted for Kington in a 2-2 draw against Team Dudley.
