ORLETON Colts are the latest recipients of the Hereford Times Herefordshire Football League team of the week prize after beating Hinton 3-2 in the Premier Division.

Will Casewell, Shane Jennings and Martyn Jones grabbed the goals for Orleton that secured only their second league win this season.

Tenbury United and Wellington Reserves shared a 1-1 draw, a result that leaves Tenbury two points clear at the top of the division.

Ryan Morris yet again netted for Tenbury, with Wellington's goal coming from substitute Dean Price.

Wellington are second in the table on 11 points, level with Fownhope, who earned a 2-2 draw at Pegasus Reserves.

Matthew Davies and James Fussell netted for Fownhope.

The one other result in the league saw Westfields Reserves and Leominster Town share a six-goal thriller; Aaron Bowden, James Watkins and Nathan White scoring for Leominster.

In Division One, Bromyard and Wellington Colts drew 2-2, while Woofferton came away from Fownhope Reserves with a 4-2 win that preserves their 100% start.

It was a busy day of cup action, with many of our sides entering the first round of the HFA Junior Cup.

And one team only managed to get their game thanks to help from other clubs.

Ledbury Town Reserves were due to face Tupsley at New Street, but with the club still unable to play at the ground due to ongoing negotiations with landowners Property Solutions Ltd, they had to find an alternative venue.

Step forward Bromsberrow Village Hall, who allowed them to use their facilities, with corner flags being borrowed from Ledbury Swifts and goal nets supplied by Malvern Vale.

And the move paid off with Ledbury comfortably winning 5-0 thanks to two goals from Tom Skittery and one each from Charlie Docherty, David Preece and James Smith.

Other notable scores include Ewyas Harold Reserves coming away from Leominster Town Colts with a 7-0 win and Holme Lacy Thrashing Orleton Colts Reserves 6-2.

The Kingstone bragging rights, meanwhile, went to Rovers, who narrowly beat Harriers 4-3.
