HAY St Mary's maintained their good form in Spar Mid-Wales League Division One with a thrilling 4-4 home draw against Penrhyncoch.

But the Saints could have gone away from the game with all three points after Jack Biggs headed home in the 92nd minute.

However, the away side managed to grab a dramatic equaliser when Dylan James fired home a free-kick.

Biggs had earlier given Hay the lead, with Rob McNamra bagging the other two goals.

The result means Llandrindod Wells are the new league leaders after a 2-1 home success over Carno.

Darren Murphy gave Llandrindod an early lead and Ashley Jones hit a stunning 30 yarder to see them two go 2-0 up at the beak.

Steve Jones pulled one back for Carno but Llandrindod comfortably saw the game out after Carno had Daniel Lewis sent off

Knighton Town returned to winning ways with a 4-2 verdict over Aberaeron with two goals from Danny Ives and one apiece from Mark Jones and Sam Williams.

Newbridge went down 6-1 to Churchstoke, while Presteigne were hammed 5-0 by a Kerry side that have won six of their opening seven games.
