HAY St Mary's have won their opening three away games after beating Carno 4-3 in Spar Mid-Wales League Division One on Saturday.

Two goals from Steve Morgan and one each from Stuart Davies and Kevin Jones won the game for Hay against a team which had won their opening four games.

Knighton Town are fourth from bottom in the division after losing to a late winner at Llandrindod Wells last week.

Ashley Jones grabbed the decisive goal against a Knighton team that had two players sent off.

Adam Farmer saw red in the first half after bringing down Richie Powell and Darren Murphy netted the resulting penalty.

Knighton hit back through Mark Jones, but Ashley Jones snatched it for Llandrindod after Knighton player-manager Adam Worton picked up a second yellow card.

In Division Two, Radnor Valley crashed 5-2 at home against leaders Kerry and Newbridge went down 3-1 to Dyffryn Banw.

Craig Morris scored twice for Newcastle in a 4-3 win over Hay St Mary's Reserves in Financial Watson Mid-Wales League (South).

Jack Morgan and Scott Oxford also netted for Newcastle, with Jack Cripps (2) and Wilf Ratcliffe keeping the Saints in the hunt.

Talgarth Town are rooted to the bottom of the division after a Christian Jones hat-trick saw leaders Rhayader Reserves thump them 6-0.

Dan Goodman, Nefyn Savage and Kyle Morgan grabbed the other goals.

On Tuesday night, Knighton Town Reserves came away from Presteigne Reserves with a 3-2 win.
