TWO goals from Josh Hunt helped Wellington comfortably beat Pegasus Juniors in a West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division derby on Tuesday night.

Derek Williams' side opened the scoring after six minutes when Steve Brotherwood headed home before Pegasus equalised from the penalty spot through Ashley Lear following a foul from Luke Winter.

But that was as good as it got for Peggy and they were behind again after 24 minutes when Hunt opened his account.

He then grabbed another goal nine minutes later before a penalty from Paul Jones sealed the game six minutes from time.

It was Wellington's second successive 4-1 after beating Stone Old Alleynians on Saturday.

"We could have scored more in the second half," said Williams.

"Adam Newbury, Paul Jones and Andy Price all had chances.

"We need a striker though because Steve Brotherwood is playing up front at the moment.

"We've still got Saul Thomas and Aaron Morgan to come back."

It was a good few days for Hunt, who also scored twice against Stone Old Alleynians.

Welly had to come from behind to win the game after Stone opened the scoring.

But two goals in five minutes after the break swung the game back into Welly's favour.

Hunt scored first before Will Perkins put Wellington in front.

Perkins then made it 3-1 with a volley before Ben Fischer went hit the underside of the bar.

But Hunt grabbed his second of the game after being set up by Adam Newbury to seal the win.

It was better news for Pegasus' Under-18 side, who beat their Bromyard Town counterparts 4-2 on Monday.
