A GROUP of junior footballers were able to act out many youngsters' dream by attending a Wembley cup final.
Fifty-three boys and girls from Belmont Wanderers travelled to the iconic London stadium on Saturday to watch the Women's FA Cup Final.
One girl in particular, 12-year-old Hazel-Freya Thomas, even got to walk onto the hallowed turf with the trophy after winning a competition organised by one of the competition's sponsors.
Her father, Chris Tipping, said the day was a memorable occasion for the boys and girls.
"To see their faces was phenomenal," said Mr Tipping, the head of girls development at Belmont Wanderers.
"It was amazing for them and was great to see."
Some of the youngsters were also spotted in the matchday programme having been captured in photographs taken while attending a Bristol Academy v Manchester City WFC game.
The game, which was screened live on BBC television, was the first Women's FA Cup Final to be played at Wembley.
Chelsea won the match 1-0, beating Notts County.
