WELLINGTON were in seventh heaven after thrashing Wednesfield 7-0 in West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division.
The villagers took the lead in the sixth minute when Will Perkins scored direct from a free-kick.
A Perkins corner then found Andy Price, who doubled his side's advantage before Josh Hunt made it 3-0.
There was time for another goal before half-time when Price got his second of the game.
Wellington then missed several chances before a long kick by goalkeeper Craig Hill was met on the volley by Hunt for an outstanding goal.
Matt Williams then made it 6-0 with a volley of his home from a Steve Brotherwood cross before Brotherwood added a seventh.
