WELLINGTON will be hoping to bounce back against Bilston Town Community this Saturday after coming unstuck last weekend.

The villagers are 11th in the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division table with seven games remaining.

Last Saturday, Derek Williams' side lost 1-0 at home to Wolverhampton Sporting Community after conceding a goal in injury time.

Wellington found the windy conditions difficult in the first half, but defended well.

But they could not hold on and were made to pay in stoppagae time when Wolverhampton grabbed the winner.

There was still time for Steve Brotherwood and Matt Aubrey to go close as Welly searched for the equaliser, while the villagers also hit a post.

Wellington went into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw against Smethwick Rangers that was played three days previously.

Matt Aubrey struck twice for Welly in the game.

Following the Bilston game, Wellington host Wednesfield before travelling to Wellington Amateurs.

They then entertain Sporting Khalsa in the semi-finals of the Division One League Cup on Tuesday, April 21.

The final will be played at Aston Villa's Villa Park ground.
