WOOFFERTON upset the form book to thrash Hereford Times Herefordshire Football League Division 1 leaders Bromyard, which earns them the performance of the week award

Prolific marksman Danny Gower grabbed three of the Blues’ goals, with Kieron Dovey also on target.

Bromyard’s goal was scored by Will Tolley.

Ledbury Town Reserves, who are still in contention for the league title, were unable to take advantage of Bromyard’s slip-up and were held to a goalless draw at Holme Lacy.

In the only other game in the division, Matt Eden scored to give Wellington Colts a 1-0 away win at Fownhope Reserves.

Premier Division leaders Ewyas Harold were in HFA Charity Bowl action and suffered a 5-0 thumping at Tenbury United.

Tenbury put their stuttering league form to one side to upset Harold thanks to goals from Aaron Morris, Ryan Morris (two) and Macauley Stone.

Wellington Reserves could not take advantage though, only drawing 1-1 at Westfields Reserves, who scored through Kevin Davies.

Ewyas Harold are three points ahead of Wellington, but have played a game more.

Tenbury Town continued their attempt to catch Division 2 leaders Sinkums after beating Kington Town Reserves 3-1.

Mark Boucker, Chris Patton and Alex Lombardi scored for Town, who are six points behind Sinkums but with four games in hand.

Division 3 is still a three-way contest with Dore Valley having completed their fixtures.

They hold a five point lead over Ledbury Colts, who beat Leominster Town Reserves 2-1.

Jamie Gladwin and Tom Skittery scored for Ledbury, with Leominster's goal coming from Tommy Murphy.

Orleton Colts Reserves, in third place, are six points off the top after being beaten 3-1 at home to Shobdon Reserves, with Adam Blanchet scoring two fo their goals.

Further back in fourth place are Tupsley, who are are also six points off the top, but with three games in hand. The city side beat bottom club Weston 3-1.

Belmont Wanderers, in fifth, also have an outside chance.

They are nine points off the top, with three games in hand.

However, they have a vastly superior goal difference.
