HEREFORD Lads Club's recent good form came to halt following a 6-2 thumping at St Martins in West Midlands (Regional) Football League Division 1.

The city side started well and should have been three goals up within the first 10 minutes.

Both James Fennessy and Scoot Turner shot into the side netting before Turner saw his effort sail over the bar.

St Martins came back into it though and resolute defending had to keep them at bay.

But it was Lads Club who took the lead through Turner after he was set up by Fennessy.

St Martins equalised moments later thanks to a Shaheen Miah free-kick,

Sam Nash then put the Shropshire side ahead before Karl Bailey made it 3-1 before half-time.

Guy Guildford added a fourth after the break before Bailey scored again.

Jamie Hands wrapped up proceedings by scoring St Martins' sixth goal before Danny Moon grabbed a consolation for Lads Club.

Goals from Marc Avery, Tom Davies and Paul Monteath saw Bartestree secure a credible 3-3 draw at AFC Ludlow.

The Shropshire side stormed into a 3-0 lead inside the opening 20 minutes thanks to Jamie Price and two goals from Marion Jusko.

But Bartestree hit back with two goals before half-time before grabbing an equaliser after the break.

Bromyard Town were not in action, while Kington Town saw their Division 2 game at Oakengates Athletic postponed.
