PEGASUS Juniors suffered a disappointing home defeat in West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division, going down 3-0 to Wolverhampton Casuals.

The Old School Lane side suffered an early set back when Kane Kahaki was replaced following an injury to his ankle.

Casuals took the lead after 20 minutes when Dan Westwood guided the ball past Nathan Phillips following a cross.

Pegaus started the second half the brighter of the two teams and went close through a Chris Mortlock header.

Three minutes later Paul Allam and Anthony Robbins combined to free Tom Dawson on the left.

The midfielder powered his way into the penalty area, but his shot was blocked by Todd Perry.

On the hour mark, the visitors countered down their left and Jordan Uppal scored with a tap in from two yards.

Westwood then saw his effort crash against a post after 74 minutes, but the rebound fell to Lewis Cooper, who made no mistake.

Wolverhampton Casuals were later awarded a penalty after Allam was deemed to have fouled Jay Holdcroft.

But Franco's spot-kick was superbly saved by Phillips, the third time the Pegasus goalkeeper had kept out a penalty this season.

Bromyard and Lads Club saw their scheduled games in Division 1 called off.

But Bartestree were glad their game went ahead because they came from Wrens Nest with a resounding 4-2 win.
