WELLINGTON hit Cradley Town for seven yesterday to rise up to 11th in the West Midlands (Regional League) Premier Division.
Paul Jones, Aaron Morgan and Ben Fischer all scored twice for Derek Williams' side, with Will Perkins grabbing the other on a heavy pitch that beat the morning rain.
"It was a good game for the spectators, but probably not a good one for the managers," said Williams.
"We deserved the win, it was just a shame we gave away some poor goals, especially the two in the first half when we should have come in 4-0 ahead.
"But the boys did well and it was nice to get it on after Christmas.
"I thought Aaron Morgan was terrific up front.
"We've got a few options now with Paul Jones going upfront with Aaron which gives us another dimension.
"Ben Fischer can also push up if needed and so can Josh Hunt."
There will be a two-page big match special of this game, including more reaction and action shots, in Thursday's Hereford Times.
