PEGASUS battled bravely before two goals in the last 10 minutes allowed West Midlands League Premier Division leaders Bridgnorth to leave Old School Lane with a 3-1 win.

Juniors conceded after just 51 seconds when Liam Armstrong lobbed home from 18 yards.

But the home side were back on terms after 23 minutes when Paul Allam smashed the ball home following a corner.

Pegasus gave as good as they got for the remainder of the game and were looking good for a draw.

But, with fewer than 10 minutes remaining, a handling offence was missed by the officials on the edge of the Pegasus area and the visitors went on to gain a corner.

From the flag-kick, Jack Wilson scored with a header and, with Juniors going all out for an equaliser, Anwar Olugbon bagged a third in the dying seconds.

Despite taking an early lead, Wellington went down to a 4-1 home defeat by Haughmond.

Paul Jones opened the scoring from the penalty spot and a Ben Thomas drive came out off a post as Wellington did well in the early stages.

But the home side failed to clear a corner and Haughmond equalised before going on to take the lead from the spot before the interval.

Two second-half goals sealed the visitors' victory.
