THE first round of tickets for next year's IBSA Blind Football European Championship go on sale on Monday.

The tournament takes place at the Royal National College for the Blind (RNC) in Hereford in August, with England's game against Poland kicking off proceedings.

Session tickets are £5 with two matches takling place per day until the final.

England head Group A and along with newcomers Poland will face Turkey, Germany and Italy.

The top two finishing teams will earn a place at the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Reigning champions Spain are in Group B alongside France, Russia, Greece and tournament first-timers Belgium.

Former England and Team GB blind football captain Dave Clarke said: "There has been a lot of effort gone into creating blind football as a formidable sport.

"It's vital that not just Hereford but the whole country gets behind the Euros in 2015.

"Lets give our own team a fantastic chance of winning not just this tournament but also the Paralympics in Rio."

The tournament will take place between August 22 to 29 at RNC's thepoint4.
