PEGASUS Reserves maintained their 100% record in the Hereford Times Herefordshire League Premier Division with a 2-1 win in the local derby with Westfields Reserves, where something had to give as they both went into the fixture undefeated.

In the other league game of the day, Hinton returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Tenbury United

The remaining teams were on HFL League Cup duty, with Wellington Rangers, undefeated in the Premier Division, taking their form into the cup competition with a 4-1 away victory at Leominster with goals from Craig Bevan, Nick Britton, John Buchanon and Ryan Daw. Matt Strangwood replied for the Town.

New boys Orleton Colts, making their debut in the competition, progressed into the next round with a 4-2 victory over Ross Juniors.

In Division One, Bromyard crashed in eight goals without reply against basement-club Bartestree Reserves to move to the top of the table.

Ewyas Harold Reserves recorded their first win of the season, their 4-2 success reversing the outcome of their previous meeting with Brimfield.

Luke Price bagged all four goals while the Brimfield reply was a brace from Robert Boyd. This turnabout wins them the Hereford Times Performance of the week award.

Weobley continued their topsy-turvy season by moving back to the top of Division Two with a 5-0 victory over Civil Service. All the remaining sides were on HFA Cup duty.

In the Third Division, Belmont Wanders went top with a 4-2 win over unbeaten Dore Valley with goals from James Titley (2), Ross Morgan and Andrew Richards.

Orleton Colts Reserves completed a good weekend for the club with a 6-2 away win at new boys Ledbury Colts, who have joined the HFL after their previous league folded.

Shobdon won 5-3 at home to Malvern Vale, with five different goal scorers, Acaster, Ammonds, Blanchett, Jones and Thomas.

In the remaining game, Northwood Rangers won 1-0 away at Weston, Scott Bowley the scorer.
