RICHARD Wydenbach, chairman of Herefordshire Girls Football League, received the National Respect Award for Women’s Football from FA chairman Greg Dyke at a ceremony in the Royal Suite, Wembley, before the Community Shield Final between Arsenal and Manchester City.
Wydenbach, who attended the dinner with Secretary Les Burgess, said: “It was a great occasion and reflected that this award was the result of a huge effort put in over the last few years by everyone involved with girls football in Herefordshire.
"We intend to use the £2000 grant towards further improving girls' soccer in Herefordshire.”
