SOME of the country's top women footballers will be showcasing their skills at Hereford Academy on Wednesday.

Bristol Academy Ladies players Natalia Pablos Sanchon, Keka Vega and Georgia Evans, along with Chloe Jones and Maisie Baker from Aston Villa Ladies, will be having a kick-a-bout with the county's budding young footballers at a flagship FA festival.

Charlotte Lade, one of the world's leading professional football freestylers, will also be demonstrating her tricks and skills.

"The Girls' Football Festivals are a great way to get younger girls participating in the game," said Mark Sampson, England Women's manager.

"By getting girls involved from a young age, wer can give them more opportunity to develop, whilst increasing participation and continuing to grow the women's game in England."

The event will coincide with UEFA Grassroots Day, which aims to highlight the importance of grassroots football.

It will be led by FA-approved coaches and includes sessions from the FA Skills and Football Mash-Up teams.

An interactive trailer will house trophies and digital stations, while a variety of innovative equipment will be available, including an inflatable pitch, a speed cage, target shoot and reaction-testing BATAK boards.
