JOHN Jones was elected first team captain when GB Liners Marches League Dales Cricket Club held their AGM at Leominster’s Rankin Club.
He replaces Steve Heathcote, who has also relinquished the secretary’s post, with Steve Cole replacing him.
Nick Palmer takes over from Chris Chadd, who has moved from the area, as vice captain.
Ian Jones was re-elected as chairman, Peter Hoare will be his deputy.
Adrian Gore will continue as treasurer and David Hodges will act as press officer. l Wormelow are holding their annual meeting at the club’s Kennel Field ground on Sunday, starting at 6.30pm.
