THE rain put paid to many GB Liners Marches League games on Saturday.

Only took game took place in Division One, with the matches between Dales and Goodrich, Garnons and Kington and Woolhope and Luctonians all being washed out.

Of the matches that did take place, Abergavenny-Crickhowell beat Brockhampton 3rds by four wickets thanks to excellent bowling from Nick Francis, who took 4-12, while an opening stand of 182 between Dylan McPhee (118) and Sam Williams (84) helped Builth Wells thrash Glangrwyney by 237 runs.

Ross-on-Wye claimed a narrow eight-run win against Division Two leaders Canon Frome thanks to a 60 from opening batsman Masud Ahmed, while Colwall Thirds beat Almeley by five wickets.

Eastnor Thirds went down to a 178-run loss to Cleboury Mortimer.

Strollers are now 18 points clear at the top of Division Three after an unbeaten 74 from Mark Powell helped them maintain their 100% start with an eight wicket win against Ledbury Seconds.

Elsewhere, Goodrich Seconds claimed a winning draw against Moccas.

Bosbury are riding high at the top of Division Four, with their latest win coming against Colwall Fourths.

Herefordians are second after a 10-wicket thrashing of Glangrwyney Seconds, while Woolhope Seconds and Eastnor Fourths claimed wins against Brockhampton Fourths and Strollers Seconds respectively.

Ross-on-Wye Seconds had a winning draw against Kington Seconds.
