EASTNOR claimed their first win of their Worcestershire County League Division One campaign thanks to a six-wicket win against Stourport-on-Severn.

Raheel Lone starred with the ball by snapping up five wickets, while Waqas Ahmed hit an unbeaten 61 with the bat.

Eastnor elected to field after winning the toss and it was a wise decision as they reeled Stourport in at 32-3.

Andrew Siwicki scored a resilient 34 for Stourport, but more cheap wickets fell.

Only a fine 46 from number nine Andrew Cavendish gave the Worcestershire side hope, but their 149 was easily achievable, with Eastnor reaching their target in just 30.1 overs.

Elsewhere, an excellent 122 from Ben Cooke was not enough for Colwall as Bewdley claimed a winning draw.

Bewdley posted 256-6 off their 50 overs, with Jon Gooch (3-81) the pick of the Colwall bowlers.

However, in reply Colwall could only score 224-7.

Burghill, Tillington & Weobley also had a tight game, but ended up losing by just one wicket to Worcester.

Barney Morgan smashed 88 runs off 87 balls as Burghill were bowled out for 220.

Morgan was also usual with the ball, snapping up 4-52.

But Worcester persevered and managed to get over the line.

In Division Two, Bromyard lost by 56 runs to Belbroughton, while Wormelow fell to a four-wicket defeat to Coombs Wood.

There was better news for Bartestree and Lugwardine in Division Three though.

Dan Harris' 48 and Russell Barnett's 42 off just 20 balls saw Bartestree post 279.

Rushwick were then dismissed for 176, resulting in a 103 win for the county side.
