A NUMBER of county cricket teams are to take part in a nationwide programme aimed at inspiring five to eight-year-olds to take up the game.
Billed as the future of junior cricket, All Stars Cricket is being launched by the English Cricket Board (ECB) and the Elite Coach Development team.
The ECB will provide clubs with a range of benefits, including free equipment and training and marketing help to recruit youngsters.
The Herefordshire clubs taking part are Brockhampton, Bromyard, Burghill, Tillington & Weobley, Eastnor, Herefordians, Kington, Ross-on-Wye and Wormelow.
