A FINE bowling performance by Callum Stewart helped Brockhampton easily beat Attock by seven wickets in Birmingham & District League Division One.

Stewart took 4-12 to help the villagers to victory and push them up to fourth place in the division.

Brockhampton managed to bowl their Warwickshire opponents out for just 107, with Josh Tongue, Senuran Muthusamy and Adam Hewlett also snapping up two wickets each.

In reply, opener Henry Langford knocked off 47 runs off 44 balls to put Brockhampton in a position.

Ian Bullock was next to go having made only nine off 33, but Brockhampton never looked like they wouldn't reach their target.

When Muthusamy went for three, Brockhampton only needed 34 more runs to win with seven wickets intact.

It was left to Chris Powell and Joe Crichard to reel in the runs with unbeaten stands of 23 and 16 respectively and see Brockhampton home.

This Saturday, Brockhampton go to Bromsgrove, who lie two places below them in the division.

In the Second XI Premier Division, half centuries from Glyn Harrhy and Oliver Rogoff helped Brockhampton to a four-wicket win over Kidderminster, but Eastnor suffered a heavy 10-wicket loss to Bromsgrove in Division Two (South).
