STEFAN Hook claimed a seven-wicket haul as Burghill & Tillington thrashed Oldswinford & Stourbridge Social in Worcestershire County League Division One.

Hook finished on 7-21 as he blitzed through the Oldswinford attack.

Ben George (3-12) snapped up the other wickets to secure the 163-run win.

Earlier, Edward Symonds top scored with 40 as Burghill were bowled out for 220.

Dinusha Fernando was also useful with the ball for Bromyard, but despite his four wickets, the Herefordshire side still lost to Bewdley meaning that they prop up in the division.

Bromyard were bowled out for 105, with Bewdley eventually winning by four wickets.

And it doesn't get easier for Bromyard with Pershore and Worcester Nomads, who are first and second respectively in the league table, lying in wait this weekend.

Bromyard travel to Pershore on Saturday before hosting Worcester Nomads on Bank Holiday Monday.

Colwall's match against Hagley was abandoned after the visitors posted 87-1 in reply to Colwall's 211.

Wormelow went down to a losing draw against Coombs Wood in Division Two, while Bartestree & Lugwardine went the same way in their match against Chaddersley Corbett.

But Ross-on-Wye managed to get a winning draw against Rushwick, with Harry Porter scoring a half century.
