HEREFORDSHIRE Under-13 Girls are in fine form, topped by winning three games in a week.

The side beat Gloucestershire before overcoming Worcestershire twice.

The first game against Gloucestershire Development at Hereford Cricket Centre in Pentland Gardens saw Herefordshore bowl out their opponents for 79.

Then, they skittled out Worcestershire in an ECB Cup game for just 35.

It was Herefordshire Girls' first ever win against their neighbouring county.

The two teams faced each other again in another ECB Cup game at Barnt Green.

Herefordshire were only able to field 10 players but they still managed to prevail.

Great performances came from Chloe Tingle, who was 16 not out and Jess Critchard. who made 31.

The team's youngest player, Harriet Shuker, who came from the Under-11 squad, also scored eight runs.

Herefordshire were eventually bowled out for 90, but the girls rose to the challenge to win by 11 runs after Worcestershire were all out for 79.

Both Chloe Tingle and Harriet Shuker took four wickets each, with Georgina Sockett helping herself to two.

The team finish off the season by heading to the Malvern Festival for three days where they will play Nottingham, Norfolk and Shropshire.
