GOODRICH are now 33 points clear at the top of Division One of the GB Marches Cricket League following another hefty win.

This time it was a 172-run drubbing against Ledbury, who are rooted at the bottom of the division.

Sam Griffiths led the way for Goodrich with a fine 71, with James O'Brien (60) and Rory Jackson (54) also chipping in nicely.

Ledbury were then skittled out for 111, with Mark Bradford snapping up five wickets.

Luctonians remain in second place after James Platford's 137 helped them to a winning draw against Kington.

Duncan Platford (114) also hit a century for Lucs, who posted 341-3 off their 45 overs.

But Kington showed resistance when put into bat and Lucs were unable to bowl them out.

Wayne Morgan top scored for Kington with 43 in their total of 204-9.

Builth Wells are six points further back in third following a 144-run mauling against Canon Frome, with Garnons placed in fourth.

Garnons beat Woolhope by eight wickets last Saturday, with Alan Jones hitting 76.

Rob Pritchard also snapped up four wickets as Woolhope were bowled out for 150.

Elsewhere, Jeremy Kerrison's 55 helped Crickhowell to an eight-wicket success over Brockhampton 3rd.

The Division Two table has been readjusted after Llandrindod Wells decided to withdraw due to a lack of players.

Shirebulls still lead the way despite going to a losing draw at Almeley.

Marc Priday (59) led the way for Almeley in their total of 213-6 but they could not bowl out Shirebulls, who made 195-9.

Builth Wells 2nd enjoyed their first win of the season after Chris Roff's 75 helped them to a surprise five-wicket win against Marden.

Elsewhere in the league, Zac Canning was agonisingly one run short of scoring a century for Weobley, but it did not matter because his team still thrashed Dales by 72 runs.

Glangrwyney's home match against Knighton-on-Teme did not go ahead due to Knighton being unable to field a full team.

In Division Three, Lee Fury hit 113 in Abergavenny 3rd's 133-run hammering of Bosbury, while Goodrich 2nd beat Ledbury 2nd by seven wickets and Strollers overcame Garnons 2nd by four wickets.

The other match played on Saturday saw Luctonians thrash Kington 2nd by 10 wickets after bowling them out for just 63.

In Division 4 West, Moccas enjoyed two wins f different proportions over the weekend.

On Saturday, Dave Hobby top scored with 171 in their 225-run hammering against Kington 3rd, while the following day, Matthew James' half century saw them edge past Burghill & Tillington 3rd by one run.
