GLAMORGAN skipper Mark Wallace is the guest speaker when Presteigne CC hold their annual dinner at the Radnorshire Arms on Saturday.

Wallace, who was born in Abergavenny, has made more than 10,000 runs and effected in excess of 700 dismissals during his 15 years in the county game as a wicket-keeper batsman.

He is also the chairman of the Professional Cricketers Assoaciation.

The guest speaker at tonight's meeting of the Herefordshire Cricket Society is BBC Hereford & Worcester presenter Dave Bradley.

The meeting takes place at Hereford Rowing Club at 7.30pm when non-members are welcome to attend.

Herefordshire CCC hold their annual meeting at the GWRSA club on Monday at 8pm.

Members will reflect on one of the county club's most successful seasons in recent years but have the sad task of electing a successor to secretary Pete Sykes who died suddenly in September.
