THE Crichard and Ashcroft brothers enjoyed afternoons to remember as runs flowed and wickets tumbled on the county's cricket pitches.
Joe Crichard hammered an unbeaten 145 for Brockhampton 2nd in their winning draw against Knowle and Dorridge in the Birmingham League's Second Xl Premier Division.
Meanwhile brother Sam was cracking 142 for Colwall 2nd as they reinforced their position at the top of the Worcestershire League's Second Xl Division One with a winning draw against Worcester Nomads.
The Ashcroft brothers excelled with the ball, sharing all 10 wickets as Worcestershire League Division Four leadersBartestree & Lugwardine beat Five Ways Old Edwardians by 61 runs.
Marcus took pride of place with a career-best 7-60 while Matt picked up the other three to finish with 3-40.
In the same game, Bartestree's batting star was Nick Frith with 96 and, to maintain the family theme, his dad Chris scored 50 for the club's third team as they defeated Ewyas Harold by three wickets in a GB Liners Marches League Division Five match.
