PETE Griffiths bagged four wickets, but it was enough as Luctonians lost by by three wickets to Abergavenny in Marches League Division One.

Griffiths finished with figures of 4-39, while Chris Burke and John Kelly also chipped in with wickets.

However, it was the batting that let Luctonians down with only Chris Ibbetson (30) and Duncan Platford (26) getting into double figures.

Duane Evans smashed 129 for Garnons but it was not enough as their game against Builth Wells in Marches League Division One was abandoned due to heavy rain.

Garnons had hit a brilliant 316-8 off their 45 overs, with Alan Jones (44), James Debenham (36) and George Cotterall (31) also contributing towards the score.

But, Builth Wells could only muster four overs before the heavens opened and the umpire decided to call off the game.

William Pearson also hit a century for Brockhampton 3rd, which helped the team to an eight-wicket success against Talgarth.

Talgarth were bowled out for 208, with David Price helping himself to three wickets.

Brockhampton 3rd then only needed 24.5 overs to reach their required total, with only two wickets loss.

Mark Bradford grabbed five wickets to help Goodrich to a winning draw against Dales.

Goodrich finished their 45 overs on 247-8, with James O' Brien top scoring with 73.

However, despite Bradford's efforts, Dales could not be bowled out and finished on 161-8.

Luke Ledbury's 42 helped Ledbury to a seven-wicket win against Marden in Division Two.

Jamie Turner's four wickets was also key to the win.

Dan Pullen (3-26) inspired Knighton-on-Teme to a six wicket win against Presteigne.

Robin Sparey (28 no) top scored for Presteigne.

Chris Breeze took six wickets in Shirebull's eight-wicket hammering of Weobley.

Breeze finished with figures of 6-16 as Weobley were all out for just 56.

In Division Three, Strollers beat Moccas by three wickets and Widemarsh Lads Club lost to Glangrwyney by seven wickets.

Herefordians narrowly beat Luctonians 3rd by three runs in Division Four, while Bosbury secured a winning draw against Wormelow 3rd.

And in Division Five, Strollers 2nd beat Ewyas Harold by four wickets.
