HEREFORD professional boxer Dean Evans is gearing up for the biggest fight of his career so far when he takes in Andy "Thunder" Harris for the British Challenge Title.

The contest at Gloucester's GL1 Leisure Centre on Saturday, February 13 is being billed as "unfinished business" due to previous matches between the pair.

"We boxed each other twice in the amateurs and he got both decisions," said Evans, who trains at Hereford Boxing Academy.

"I was robbed in the second fight in Cheltenham and aim to put the record straight now in the pro ranks.

"Andy has been in with the likes of Tom Stalker, Luke Campbell and Charlie Flynn in his 35 pro fights, so he's got a lot of experience.

"But I'm feeling confident that I can put on a good show and bring the belt back to Hereford.

"My training has been going very well with some tough sparring down in Newport and Swindon."

Tickets can be purchased by calling either Dean Evans on 07791 207282 or Neil Gibbons on 07776 191446.

Alternatively, you can pick them up from Hereford Boxing Academy, situated near Lads Club on Widemarsh Common, between 6.30pm and 9pm on a Tuesday or Thursday.

A 52-seater bus will be travelling from Hereford to Gloucester on the day to support Evans.
